Shanghai!

So people...We went to Shanghai to do a show at the beginning of December and it was so much fun. We stayed at the Hyatt on the Bund and it was fabulous! Once we got situated, of course we hit the shopping spots where one could find ANYTHING! And it was definitely a show! Endless stores, people and things to buy everywhere! The vendors were hardcore negotiators but if, like me, you came to make a deal, one could be made. Check out this video on the way to the shopping spot...It was a beautiful day :)

2010 Summmerfest in Australia

Hello Everybody! I know I haven't checked in in a while but I recently returned from an amazing trip to Australia where Ciara performed on the 2010 Summerfest tour. We hit all the big cities down under. We did Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane! It was"TTU", "too turned up"! So much fun and here's a funny video of me and Kiyah in Sydney where this random guy crashed our little production! I also included a little clip of me with Charlie the Kuala bear! LOL...

The Perks of My Job!

Some of the best benefits of what I do is getting to meet really amazing people. This was definitely one of those moments where I was excited to meet a very special individual who has made great accomplishments within our country! And to top it off he's as cool as they come...And I wish our former President Clinton much continues success!

Whirlwind of Excitement!

First we shot the most incredible video! Ciara's "Gimme Dat" which is in Ciara's own words her best work to date! Then a monsterous performance with Pharell during the VMA's! To top it off "we" snagged BEST-DRESSED on the white carpet at the VMA's! Then... off to NYC for back-to-back photoshoots with some top magazines! Whew! Now, take here's a peek into my world...

Ciara hosts star-studded event at Luxe Night Club in Miami on June 18th.

Ciara hosted a fun-filled evening celebrating La La's upcoming Nuptials! One of the best nights ever! Great job Ci Ci...I think we look hot. Let me know what you guys think :)

Mentoring Aspiring Artists

I met these young ladies at Georgia Tech after I did makeup for Holly Robinson-Peete for the live broadcast of the Oprah's No Phone Zone segment shot in Atlanta! She (Holly) was fantastic by the way!  On my way out of the building, I was met by a group of very excited girls...who wanted to take a picture with yours truly!  This does happen occasionally...Lol :) I am always honored that my work as a professional makeup artist is recognized and appreciated.  Inga, who forwarded me an email with this picture attached is an aspiring makeup artist who'd love to shadow me.  And of course, it is always a pleasure whenever I have the opportunity to give back and help our future professionals up through the ranks!  Anyway, I will keep you posted on how everything goes with Inga!

Hello Everyone!

Today was a GREAT day! I got to work with Holly on OPRAH and let me tell you she's Amazing! And as you can see very beautiful. I really enjoyed working with her and the highlight of the morning was my pledge to make my car a NO PHONE ZONE. This is huge for me, but after seeing all the lives devastated by this habit I decided to say NO! I hope you all do the same. Please let's make our roads a safer place.

Bringing In the New Year with a BANG!

Hey Everybody! I just wanted to check in to say that I had an amazing end to 2009 and 2010 is going to be even greater! Yey! Some of my year end projects included a shoot with renowned photographer Annie Lebowitz for Vanity Fair doing Gabourey Sidibe's makeup! I also had an amazing trip to Nigeria booked to to a series of Delta Peace shows with the one and only Ciara! Brought the new year end doing Ciara for a Red Carpet event in Vegas! Now that was a blast. And to start the New Year off, I reconnected with THE Jennifer Hudson for an alter ego shoot with celeb photographer Derek Blanks. I'm looking forward to amazing things this year in 2010! I will keep you all posted...
